Nicco Foods Limited was established in 1993 as a sales and
marketing organisation for manufacturers throughout Europe.
The company built its business by importing Ciabatta bread,
supplying major retail and catering accounts.
Within a short period of time the company became recognised
for its professional approach to the marketing of frozen,
chilled and ambient products under brand business and private
label.
The company today has a strong presence in the frozen food
market, which is accounting for 40% of its business, 35%
in chilled products and 25% in ambient products – supplying
a wide range of retail and catering customers.
The company has set up its office facilities at Meridian
House in Winsford, Cheshire, with a staff of ten people.
An expansion plan for the next three years is developing
the frozen side of the business, particularly in frozen foods
for the retail market and ready meals for the “food-to-go”.
Sales for 2005/2006 is confirmed to be in excess of £12 million pounds. Projected sales for 2006/2007 is £20 million.
